My bags are not mass-produced. I make each one by hand, one at a time. Most of the creations are one of a kind; occasionally multiple colours will be made in the same pattern. I may recreate a bag using different materials or a slightly altered design. In any case, there will be only ONE in inventory.
Custom orders are welcomed and encouraged. If you have something in mind, please contact me and we can discuss creating something unique to you.
Size: Please make note of the bag size/dimensions to ensure it will fit your needs.
Colour: Note that the colour of any bag will vary from monitor to monitor.
Payment: Payment/Deposit is due in full upon receipt of invoice. Bags will not be shipped until payment is received.
I only make my own designs. Please do not request a bag from another designer.
Custom orders are just that....custom to your personal style. I will work one on one with you to come up with a bag silhouette that complements how you move through your day. Complete that silhouette with a personalized interior fabric or a shirt, quilt, jacket or scarf that may need a new life. The possibilities are endless.
If you would like to cancel an order for a creations bag that I have in inventory, please contact me immediately. If your order has not yet shipped, I will be able to cancel it for you. If the order has already shipped a cancellation will not be possible (please refer to the returns section at that point).
If you have placed a custom order and want to cancel, please contact me immediately. You may cancel up to the time when I have started working on your bag (that includes ordering fabrics). Once I have started your custom bag, I will not be able to cancel the order. Please note, custom bags are non-refundable.
I currently ship to the United States only, but will be expanding internationally soon.
Creation bags (inventory) ship out in 1-3 days.
Custom orders have a longer processing time due to the nature of the order and will ship out upon completion, usually 3-4 weeks.
Orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail with insurance and tracking. USPS has recently extended its shipping times for many of its services. Please allow up to 10 days from the date it was mailed for your package to arrive.
If you have NOT received your order. First, check the shipping address you provided as that is where your order will be shipped. I am not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address that you provided. Second, please contact your local post office to inquire in the event a package was marked delivered but still has not arrived. Occasionally packages do get lost in the mail. If you have not received your order after 10 days from the date it was shipped, please contact me and I'll see if I can help.
All orders are shipped from Connecticut. All orders shipped to Connecticut pay 6.35% sales tax.
Creation bags (inventory) can be returned or exchanged if you are not completely satisfied and contact me within THREE (3) DAYS of delivery. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable. Items must be shipped back unused and in the original packaging with insurance and tracking. Returns that show signs of use will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense.
Custom bags are FINAL sale and not eligible for return or exchange. Quality craftsmanship is very important to me and I meticulously inspect every bag before shipment. As we work one on one to create your bag, there will be several approvals during that process. Please contact me the day of delivery if you find any issues when you receive your bag so that I can make any adjustments.
When you make a purchase from Jade Michael, your name, shipping address, email and phone number (if provided) is the only thing collected.
I do not have access to your credit card or banking information. Payments are processed through PayPal. You are not required to have a PayPal account in order to make a purchase. Click here to see PayPal security information.
I use the information that you provide solely to communicate in the event of a custom order, to ship your order and/or to inform you when orders have shipped.
When you provide your email address to stay in the know, I collect and save that address to send you communication on future offers, new creations or upcoming events.
