Hi! I'm Kia, owner of Jade Michael.  I design and hand make every bag, one at a time, in my home studio in Colchester, CT.

Every bag starts with an inspiration and a sketch.  That sketch becomes a reference point for the creation of a template that is worked and re-worked into a final design.  I focus on quality over quantity to create bags that are unique, fresh and functional.  Whether it's a shoulder bag, satchel, crossbody, clutch or tote each bag is a distinctive, timeless conversation starter.

I envision Jade Michael remaining a one woman operation where I design and construct high quality bags that reflect my creative style.
